The Foraging Book: A First Look at What Is Coming

Something is coming. It is not ready yet, and there is nothing to buy — but if you have been reading the blog and coming to the workshops, I wanted you to know about it.

Everything from the walks and the blog, gathered into one book.

What it is

Rustic foraging basket overflowing with hazelnuts, sloes, rosehips, blackberries, and crab apples with an open field guide
The seasonal guides, the recipes, the identification method — all in one place.

I am gathering everything from the walks and the blog into a single foraging book. The seasonal guides, the plant deep-dives, the recipes, the science behind the bioactive compounds, and the practical identification method I teach on the workshops — all of it, in one place.

Why I am writing it

Cozy autumn kitchen with jars of hedgerow jelly, elderberry syrup, basket of blackberries, open notebook with plant sketches
The kitchen, the science, and the hedgerow — what the book will cover.

Because the same questions come up on every walk, and the blog only answers them one plant at a time. The book will give you the full picture — the seasonal calendar, the identification skills, the kitchen, and the evidence — in a format you can take with you.

When it will be ready

I do not have a date yet, and I would rather be honest about that than promise something I cannot deliver. What I can do is let you know when it is available, before anyone else, if you would like to be kept in the loop.

If you would like to be notified when the book is ready, sign up here and I will let you know.
